Influences
Among the many working philosophies I follow are those of Rachel Chavkin and the Team approach, as well as William Ball and Peter Brook. Devised experience under Orlando Pabatoy, Amanda McRaven, and Liz Swados. I have also studied under and incorporate the working methods of Brian Thomas Hill, Michelle Shay, Kent Gash, Gia Forakis, Ozzie Jones, and Deborah Block.
My voice is influenced by directors of all mediums, and especially those who are drawn to the chaotic beauty of life and its grim hilarities. Lately this includes Guillermo Del Toro, Greta Gerwig, the Daniels, Terry Gilliam, and David Lynch. Favorite authors include Alan Moore, Octavia Butler, Neal Stephenson, Ursula K. LeGuin, Neil Gaiman, and Douglas Adams.
